Ryan Cleans Up

Ryan, when prompted, loves to put things in their place. After his nap, he had thrown all of his animal buddies out of his crib. This was him putting them all back, and giving us a smile as well.

Dinosaur Costume

When asked what Jack wanted for his 4 year old birthday, he responded that he wanted a "Dinosaur Costume". So when a kid asks for a Dinosaur Costume for his birthday, you get a grandparent to buy it for him.

So....let's review:

1) Get the costume

2) Invite a friend over

3) Put costume on

4) Run laps around kitchen while friend from step 2) chases

Bounce House Slide

It was Dakota Blum's birthday today. One day after Jack's. Ryan had some wicked Diaper Rash today and was quite miserable at the party. Jack had a ball though and was in his typical glory.

I caught him on the bounce house slide. All was fun until we had to leave the party and Jack freaked because he didn't get a balloon. All in all, fun for Jack, no fun for Ryan, Stacey and I. At least the kids were cute.

Jack's 4 Year Old Birthday Party

Despite Jack's actual birthday being June 20th, we had his 4 year old birthday party on Saturday. It was back at the Jim Ward Community Center and everything turned out well. The weather held out and the kids all had a great time. Sometimes don't you just wish you were 4 again.

After the playground and sprinklers, it was time for some cake.

My New Toy

I recently purchased a new Flip Video recorder. What an amazing thing. I highly recommend it for easy recording, uploading and sharing video. Siblings Birthdays 2009

We celebrated Cheryl, Michael and Jessica's Birthdays together. That was one big cake. We sure missed Cheryl though.

Mother's Day 2009

It was such a nice Mother's day having everyone over. We missed a lot of people though, especially Mom Leventhal and Cheryl. We're glad everyone is feeling better!! I had more fun with my new Flip.

I recently got my new Flip video recorder and so far it's great. Because of it I'm able to quickly take advantage of capturing moments like this. Jack out of the blue thought it would be neat to brush Ryan's teeth. You'll find out why at the :36 sec mark.

It makes a parent proud.
